Have been trying all week to solve a 100 long list of cryptic clues for town or city names in the British isles. Have completed all but 8. I know this is not exactly a crossword but this site seemed the best place to put this query, Any help would be much appreciated.

1. Provide for Amateur radio fan. (8)
2. Attach with a wrench. (6)
3. Animal's resting place attach. (10)
4. Could this be a cat's paw? (10)
5. Little girl with pebble. (9)
6. Forms a plan. (7)
7. Burn the cathedral. (11)
8. The flock showers. (9)

All answers are names of towns or cities within the British isles.

1 Caterham - Cater+Ham (amateur radio fan)

5 Maidstone?

3 Barnstaple?

2 Bolton?

4 Felixstowe

6 Devizes?
