Can someone help me parse 50ac.Burns possibly making black marks all over, causing shock(6). Has to be tremor but I am bewildered!

Yes, I was bewildered, too.

I thought it might have something to do with the poet,Robert Burns and indeed it does. Robert backwards is Trebor.
and as the clue says, you make 'black' i.e. the letter B, 'marks', the letter M. Does this make sense?

I confess to guessing many of the clues, then seeing how they work afterwards.
