Burnsie, it's always better to give the clue - those without a copy could help.

A US guy popping in to give money to delivery guy (8) Paperboy

A = per
US guy = bo (word for man)
Give money to = Pay
(Popping in = put 'per' and 'bo' inside 'pay')

Pa per bo y.

27 Gossip columnist's spot that woman is after (7)

Blather = Gossip
Blat = newspaper, so where a columnist could be, columnist's spot
Her = that woman.

Thanks Malone, this is the first time I have done this, I was so frustrated! I have never heard of bo as a US guy. Learn something every day. Thanks too for Blather .. Will try to return the favour at a later date

You're welcome, Burnsie. I'd seen Bo ('US - a familiar term of address for a man', Chambers) before but Blat was new to me.
