Having trouble parsing these, help much appreciated......

4a Coat bound to cover a hole, half reversed - ( 6) - MOHAIR (Coat)

I can see A HO)le) reversed, but how does RIM come from 'Bound to cover'?

26a Drained piping, distant or otherwise, in remote outlet (7,4) - TRADING POST (Remote outlet)

Literally cannot parse a single letter of this clue!

4d Club that's used in riot control (4) - MACE (Club)

This could almost be a straight definition, what is the cryptic relevance of 'Riot control'?

"bound" (noun) is "rim", i think.
"rim" covers "a ho(le)", reversed, giving "mohair".
That's my stab at it anyway!

I looked up "bound" (noun) in Merriam Webster's synonyms and it gives, border, brim, edge, margin, RIM, verge.

It's where the expression "beating the bounds" - a procession around the borders of a town - comes from.
