Got a full grid, but cannot find the closed path & thematic location! Help me please. Thanks

it's where H & G were in the forest , split 11,5 in the top of the grid middle-ish in a shape which you'll understand when you draw it in. The "11" word starts at the top of 26d , then goes diagonally....

I was reading between the lines & trying to trace a 'closed path' back home, only between bars!
