I got 5d by looking him up on the internet.
But that left me with a puzzle for 10ac, the only one I haven't got. I have
?I?N? R?G? I have some ideas but can't see why they fit the clue.

Like you I got a duck for 8d.

10- is an actress

'moving around' is the anagram indicator

I thought 5d was a bit obscure, though I knew him. I must share this!

I got the answer from a friend with whom I share the answers to the crossword on Sunday mornings. She is better than me, but thanks to The Forum, I'd done more than her this week.
10ac I knew it was an anagram and the definition a player and had written it out, but still didn't spot it. Doh!

I thought this a difficult crossword as some of the clues were even more cryptic than usual.

Totally stuck on last one 19 across
Cutting that is about a dog 4/3. I have S-A-/P-I. Assuming that must be wrong, but can’t see my error, or find anything to fit the grid.

Hi Sue, It's a Chinese breed of dog with loose wrinkly skin.

Cutting = SHARP + IE (That is)
