Need help please with

7d Water carrier wanting silence during work meeting

Water carrier = bhistee (or several other spelling)

I suppose the S is for silence which might leave Bhitee for work
meeting? No idea!
The problem is that between Bhistee and Bisthie I have no chance
of getting help from the crossers - two black squares either side

Can any one confirm the spelling wanted?

Pigale, 'st' is often used for 'silence' in crosswords, I saw that earlier this week. The 'meeting' could be Bee, spelling bee, knitting bee etc. That leaves us with the 'hi' so it doesn't all come together! I'll keep pondering.

hist = silence

Obviously, with hist = silence and bee around it, I can be sure of
the spelling - and understand the parsing!

Only two or three clues to go now! Not easy eh?
