Thanks Kirky. I had Barometer rather than Bolometer which had thrown me. Puzzle now solved.

I have Talent Scout, but why ?

Talent scout - one who expressses disapproval ( tut) if an act was 'silly'

anagram - noels act tut

(silly - anagram indicator)

I still don't see why Talent Scout ? I had that it was an anagram, and that Tut was disapproval etc,
but why is, presumably the compiler, Scouting for Talent ?

I don't think the compiler meant 'me' personally, but just as a way of saying 'this person' or 'who' - the person in the answer ?
