16a. Material girl getting man across Channel (4).
21a. Woman's collecting information, making lists for meetings (7).

The first is answer is "jean" and the second is "agendas". My questions are: is there such word as "jean" for the singular of "jeans" and can "agenda", which is already plural, have an "s" on the end?

Agendas is fine.

I take your point about 'jean' but 'agenda' is the plural so for me 'agendas' is as acceptable as 'sheeps'.

You are quite correct about the origin of 'Agenda' but to use it as a singular and therefore add 's' to pluralise it is perfectly acceptable.
