Having trouble parsing these, help appreciated.....

It looks like the 'Endless' battle is WATERLO(o), but that leaves PO for 'Potty' which I don't understand.

25d A sprinkler and it's target, perhaps, appeared (5) - AROSE (Appeared)

I can see that roses might be the target of a 'Sprinkler' but the wording seems to suggest that the roses are also the sprinkler itself, as in 'A sprinkler AND it's target'.

A po is another word for a potty

A rose is the sprinkler on a watering can and a flower (it's target) and arose is appeared

A rose is a perforated nozzle.
