Small coastal inlet, creek or stream. (5) I've got F?E?T but can't find a word to fit. Any thoughts, anybody?

Are you sure of your first and last letters Andy, as CREEK would fit the definition.

Thank you brendan and cerasus. I thought I was sure of the first and last letters. The F comes from Jalfrezi - clue - Hot Indian dish of meat or vegetables with chillies and spices. The T comes from 'Plastic covered frame for protecting plants outdoors' and I've got Polytunnel.
