For 8 I have A?SIR and can find nothing to fit.
Same with 30 where I can find no match for MOY?
Any help?

8dn - ES ('s') in AIR ('e.g. Greensleeves') = AESIR (plural of AS, see AS[2] in Chambers)

30dn - O ('none' ) in MYA (mollusc genus) = MOYA (volcanic mud)

Thanks Jack. I came across the two words but couldn't justify them. Very obscure even for Azed.

I should add that I can find no reference to MOYA in OneLook , Chambers or Google.

Moya is in my Chambers, revised 13th edition.

It's in my 9th, 11th, 12th, 13th (non-revised) and iPad editions.

It isn't in the online 'Chambers Dictionary', that being not the Big Red Book but the Chambers 21st Century Dictionary, which they made available at no cost for a reason...
