Still struggling on 8 questions in the quiz.
Any clues please.

5. Place which confuses cool and rash youth leader after a short time.

48. Initially royal museum was in a difficult environment so became a university.

50 Clears and smooths in order to see where the desks are located.

52. His former tutors may be disappointed that he can compose no Latin ode.

59. After so long the heartless murderer, a carpenter, was shot.

81. In year two Sophia is stalked by a false Romeo after losing her 1st class return.

83. ..... then rubs out a line and gets a scholarship!

90. Former college where Egyptian dancing girl had a term. Bizarre!

Hints - some of them very big - have been given for at least 70 of the questions in this quiz. There are several threads, so maybe you'll find some of these there?

Thank you. I have read numerous clues but the penny is not dropping this week. Will carry on. Never completed a quiz yet but always send it in as for charity.

5. Anagram of words 4 & 6, the first six letters is the number of these in a minute.
48. US New England uni. Obvious when you get the right one.
50. Anagram of words 1 & 3. Where do you find desks???
52. Anagram of last 3 words. O. B. of public school.
59. A name for a carpenter - 1939, 1969 films + 2002 TV film about a schoolmaster.
81. Can't think of a clue so it's 1st 4 letters of 4th & 10th words with O in between.
83. 1st 4 letters are an anagram of 2nd word + 3 letters. Another word for type of money awarded scholarship.
90. Latin name for your old school etc. The first word is also ano name for Egyptian dancing girl and the 2nd word is an anagram of words 8 & 9.
