Obviously no one else is admitting to any problemas with, & indeed I was sailing along merrily till I reached the bottom third or so, at which point I pretty much seized up altogether.

Can some kind soul supply :
29D - Nurse left, engaged by one passing through Hampstead perhaps (6, 7)

HEALTH VISITOR (Heath around L + Visitor (One passing through))

Health Visitor, nurse. Heath = Hampstead, so a Heath Visitor could be passing through and add L for Left, in the clue.

I fear my thinking - as I like to call it - was a very long way from this.

With any luck & not too many distractions from the snooker, I may now spread across the bottom third.
