Instead of 6,8,6, it should be 3,3,3,5,2,4. Song title.

The word play is fine, but I don't see why the definition is "Someone permanently into his work"

2 Scale a scale, short of the bitter end (6)
I see the definition for this one, but not the wordplay

2 for bitter think beer
13 when you get into what he creates you don’t get back out again
