When accessing the Times Online crossword site in Google Chrome I have an onscreen keyboard below the grid.
I do not know how I invoked this keyboard!!
How can I remove it?
Uninstalling Chrome and re-installing it did not reset the keyboard.
It is still there.
I can access Times Online crosswords on my tablet, and on my laptop.
On tablet there is an onscreen keyboard below the grid.
On laptop there is no onscreen keyboard.
What device are you using?
Thanks, Mamya.
Sadly the "tablet mode" option is no longer available, but I had not seen this option before in Settings.
It gives me something to search and query further.
I see from the Action Centre - Task Bar lower right - that the Tablet Mode icon is "inactive", but the on screen keyboard still comes up in Chrome.
If I use MS Edge there is no problem, but I prefer Chrome and to have a single set of Favourites!!
Hello, MartianAlien,
It could well be that you have to go into Chrome "settings" and see what the options are there.
The Chrome settings are normally accessed by clicking on the three vertical dots (hamburger) in the top right hand side of the page.
