I guess it's one of those we'll have to wait for.
Even when the answer is published, we still may not understand the workings of the setters mind.

I still haven't started on last week's Giant as we had visitors here. Is the answer given this coming Saturday? I never bother to check

I believe so.
I've been an Express purchaser for some time now.
But I have converted back to the Mail today as I think the Express has got very poor in the Crossword department.

I only buy the Mail on Saturdays for the magazine and TV/radio guide

I only buy Tabloids for the Xwords (There's enough rubbish in my head already without reading more) ;-)
And I don't watch much TV (so don't need the guide either)

The Times and Guardian drains me and occupies far too much of my time.
Although I do challenge the Guardian online sometimes.

The Express was a handy 15/20 min crossword I used to enjoy during my lunch break.

The DT and Mail Take me a little longer. So it all depends on how much time I have on my hands.

And then of of course, We have this beautiful place which occupies a great deal of my spare time.

I think I may have an addiction ;-)

If anyone does get the Daily Mail with the answer in it, can you post the answer on here? Thanks

I checked Saturday's Mail to see if answers to the previous Giant were printed.
It seems that solutions are printed on the Monday following the crossword, so the answer to your query would have been shown in last Monday's Daily Mail.
If anyone has a copy of last Monday's Daily Mail, maybe they could let us know . Thanks
