Tree snake in France?

Hi Rossim, I thought it might be Aspen, but I thought Aspen was in Colorado but knowing me I’m probably wrong, cheers anyway...

Aspen is in Colorado, but the cryptic clue just asks for a tree.

Hi Jazzgirl, now I see it I can see the Ash in tree, but it’s the French word - “en “ that baffles me, but after saying that it doesn’t take much to baffle me...thanks for the explanation.

The French word for IN is EN.
