Yes, my shortest ever time for a Genius - and I have done them all ... Had to go through three letters in 14, though and only got that and 2 through process of elimination. Fun to do though ...

Doh - thanks! Had definition, but wordplay somehow eluded me. Couldn't see what the european olympic committee had to do with being environmentally concerned!

Thought I had to be doing something wrong but no. Only one that held me up was 3dn, wasn’t expecting a treble.

Only got round to this today. Yes, a gentle stroll but beautifully constructed. Very impressed that the 'incompletes' were actually a complete set. Especially impressed with a triple, and also that 2 non-thematic clues made use of a 'reverse' process by excluding thematic elements rather than implying them.

Very enjoyable.

Now back to The Listener.......
