I'm having trouble parsing the following seven. If my answer is correct, please could you explain why?
A. Land in the angle between two adjoining roads. Glebe is the hidden word but why 'two adjoining roads'?
B. This is handy when a break is needed. Cue? Why handy?
C. Duck appears headless, going west. Smee? (?m??). Smee is a duck but I don't understand the rest of the clue.
D. Take off a bad film. Skit? Why 'a bad film'?
E. Head off in town, up for a jug. Ewer is a jug but can't parse the rest of the clue.
F. Fish shows midday vivacity - inactive minnow finally caught. Alewife? If so, why?
G. What they did after dubbing monetary units (4,6). ????,nobles. Maybe rose nobles? Don't understand dubbing part of clue.
Thanks in advance.

Cue is a pun as it’s in your hand when playing snooker/making a break

Smee is seems in reverse with its head missing

I think skim a better as in a film on top of something being cooked

Ewer- Crewe in reverse with head missing

Made nobles? Dubbing as in with a sword

Alewife- life (vivacity) with e and w final letters of inactive and vivacity.

Still not sure about skit or skim because skit also means take off.
