Today’s clue : Anne’s returning for some clay
I believe the answer should be SIENNA ( Anne is ) however this didn’t fit. I finished the puzzle and SENNA was the correct answer.
Surely Senna is a laxative made from Senna pods and that Sienna is a type of clay ?

Senna could be 'Ayrton' but that only uses the 'ay' of clay.

Sienna is clay coloured I agree.

I, too, would have thought that "sienna" was the answer!

Sienna is an earth pigment found in Italy so guess it could be seen as a form of clay. Guess that’s why today’s puzzle was 10/10 difficulty !

Whoops I meant to say Senna

Earth pigment is SIENNA.

Returning = si enna

The setter must have erred. They're Human too. (Well, Most of them) :-)
