1d "Distressed copper's taken up to station". Clearly "Cut Up" but I can't quite get it. "Distressed" is the definition and copper is presumably "Cu" although there's a PC in there too. The reference to station baffles me. Can anyone put me out of my misery please?

Copper + CU + Staion = PUT (Up, so reversed)

Sorry, I meant Copper = CU, as you previously said.

The Station bit is a bit vague, I agree. I took it mean 'Station' as in Place/ Put
