I have great difficulty in completing this crossword since I cannot find all the additional words. Could anyone please help me with 17 across I think it should bwe entree b ut it doesnot correspond to iother letters.
I have found 9I think) possibly 9 0f the treated answers starting in C(8), P(5) ,S(6). H (8) , B(5) ,T (7) S (6) and possibly M(6) and M (5) but I have no idea where the tenth is or what it should be. No idea also about the nswers tothe clue and their connection to the final grid entries. . I shall not be submitting the answers to this crossword since I was lucky enough to win about a month ago, so I would very much like someone to put my mind at ease so that I do not lose anymore sleep. Thank you.

I think your 9 answers are correct. The 10th is where you have solved the clue for ENTREE (which is a thematic answer). There are 10 synonyms of the first word to be deduced from the phrase '?????? for ???????' - you obviously know what the second word is.
The thematic replacement for ENTREE is ENT??E - which you'll find in Chambers.
