Walk daintily with these cuties- tarts, not maids of honour (5,4)

This is inspired by a story about my uncle who, as a teenager, asked what the dessert of small almond tarts was called? "Maids of Honour" said my grandmother. "They look like ordinary tarts to me". I have no idea if anyone dared laugh, my grandparents being very strict.

[b} NOT an entry - I've just come across it in the Radio Times Christmas Jumbo crossword! (It's singular, anyway.)

30 seconds, then another piece of Christmas food (5,3)

I don't think it would win, even if it had been "pies"!
