This is actually a cryptic quiz question rather than a crossword clue, but hopefully someone can help. The answer is a Christmas food or drink and the clue is "push middle or collar downhill". Thanks!

I've no idea and don't like quizzes much, but middle and collar refer to cuts of bacon. Still can't see answer, though.

Actually, it's probably sausage roll. There are far more results on Google for "christmas sausage roll" than "christmas bacon roll".
