Big disappointment. Last weeks crossword is repeated.

Gutted. Monday ruined. :-(

At least it was quite easy this week.

They've not been doing very well recently. After I'd completed the crossword in their last Scottish Review of Books, my wife asked if I had spent ages on it, or had I just used the answers which she noted were printed at the bottom of the page.

Today is a puce runners (4,7)

Pure scunner indeed! Couldn't agree more. Only buy the Herald on Monday for the X word. Not the first time it's happened though. Oh well, Instead of taxing my brain on it, sadly household chores will now have to be attended to?!

Back about July the Crossword Editor died suddenly which explained the mistakes then. But three months later it should be sorted, so I have once again written to the Editor complaining on behalf of all Wee Stinker addicts! Totally agree about the Scottish Review of Books crossword, too. Unusually easy.

Yes. Totally disappointed. I also am one who just buys Monday’s Herald and that for the Wee Stinker.

Kitties - You are not alone. Perhaps we should ask for a refund, the paper not being fit for the purpose for which it was bought! I think "puce runners" may be added to our lexicon.
