Didn't think SHEARWATER was correct, but it is a 'sort of' anagram of "was Taree"

#2 is NARETHA BLUE / BONNET . . An Australian parrot which may not be known to many on this wavelenghth

#2 is Eastern Bluebonnet ('eastern' / anagram / 'nearest')
