Firstly, Clue is "See great new pieces of furniture" - should be easy but am stuck, I have E - A - E - E -

Also "Hound gallery over maintaining one custom" for which SAUSAGE DOG fits but can't see why except the Hound bit

How many letters are there in each one?

What about etagere for the first one?

The furniture one has 8 letters, the 2nd clue has 7 + 3 letters.

For the 2nd clue I have: - A - S - G - D-G

it's an anagram of "see great"

etagere: great! never head of it!

the gallery is the GODS (right at top of Theatre - the seats which made you feel giddy as a child, perhaps) and the letters of that maintain(hold) one custon - a usage.

I hope that that is understandable.

Thanks Kemlo, makes total sense. I thought USAGE was something to do with MAINTAIN but didn't get the GODS bit.
