I've got: D ? S ? O ? O ? I

One (at least!) of those letters must be wrong because I can't find anything to fit.

I've assumed "party" is "do" and "throw up" is "toss" backwards and that the answer refers to "people". Probably completely wrong!

party - disco
I throw - I lob (reversed)
