Yes, it is pretty pathetic, but I'm pleasantly surprised to have got this far.

13a v eery (American woodland Thrush)

first letter of viper + eery (unsettling)

21 Biofuel anagram.of 'if blue' and 'o' oxygen.
55 Sidetrack- divert. Side /group +Track/dog.

25d Glad eye (to give someone the glad eye)
glade + ye (you once)

38d overpassed (crossed)
road - overpass
outside letters of Enfield - ed

I have to confess, re 13A, that I had intended to check VEERY in the SOD when I got into the living-room, but then quite forgot, so only have my own amnesia to blame for that one.

I'll now struggle on with the remaining 11......
