please help with this clue:
half-witted person (6,5)
answer must include a reference to family (ie,brother, sister, cousin etc)

why must it refer to family? what is the whole clue ?

tha is the whole clue, but each answer must involve a family relation. for example one clue was "Stalin" and the anwer "Uncle Joe"

what i mean is that the family part of the answer can not be a name, it must be sister, brother, uncle etc. sorry for nor explaining it clearly.

Nearest I can think of is Giddy Aunt butI know that won't fit.
Father Goose? (a real shot in the dark)

It's a pity that it isn't (6,3) or I would have suggested FATHER TED ('ted' being half of 'witted').
