Would appreciate help parsing this...

56a A skill not necessarily lacking in sinister types (9) - DEXTERITY (A skill)

Sinister is Latin for lefthandedness the opposite of dextrous.

Sinister and Dexter both relate to the left side, therefore someone with a sinister type would have dexterity.

That turned into gobblydegook as I wrote it - Rossim has it.

My Latin O level should have helped but, truth is, I was not even close - thanks Rossim, thanks Mamya.

Dexter is right.
Left handed people were considered sinister.

Thank you Brendan for starting this post. Had dexterity but having problems with bottom right corner. Always know you can help.
