Hello Mamya - I remember haberdashery! A vanishing breed now. I have just started sewing after too many years, and with even Woolworths gone, there's nowhere to buy zips, cotton,needles, etc. And cotton - I remeber when a reel of Sylko was 4d (old money) and reel of thread was£1.35 ast week. Perhaps you should go back into business!

OOh I once went dancing with the rep from Sylko LOL

I have just come home from France, where a reel of cotton in Monoprix was 6.45 Euros !! or £6.00 (approx).
