Hi AJT, no problem - I went ahead and posted my partial answers anyway as I was sure you would have completed the crossword.

I managed to completely bamboozle myself with my last two answers, being convinced that 24ac referred to a country and that, in 20dn, the 11th and 14th letters were 'j' and 'm'.

It took a time for wisdom to prevail...

I'm stuck on 1, 2 and 10. Is 2 BRECCIA? if so, how?

For Ron: No, 2 d isn't Breccia/ For 1 ac - think of Gore in terme of someone's name,; the explosion's common term. I've been using it on my PC this morning - a lot. 10 ac - not what I think of as a prop - more what you do with a prop.Did you see "Ryan's Daughter"? - One that comes to mind.
