7d O, so it comes down to this ...(4) _ E _ _ I have no idea about this one but if "Dayboy" is correct for 11a it would
be _ E _ O
14d......all that remains after we go down.(5) A _ H _ S ashes?

I think 7d could be zero. I only saw that when I read my own post!

three is anagram of there - about meaning anagram
the rest seem logical to me
