I don't understand the reference to Walt or beards at all. I got 'I serve in the US Army' bit and followed it with a 4 letter word I thought was a slang or dialect word for 'never' and got a perfectly respectable word, which I now think must be wrong. It ends in Y and I haven't been able to get 18 across. (I doubt if Imogen has a beard).
