They were easy right enough. Brain dead. Phil used begin middle end extreme half and all the puddings so should have got that one

I'm late as usual. Was this one a bit untidy? I can't account for the last letter of 27a. And - I don't know much about the French I took - if 19a is plural, shouldn't 17d be plural too?

27 second letter and last letter form a pair

19,17 is how you would see them on a menu - a bit like tournedos rossini (though "tournedos" is actually singular, I think)
