Would appreciate help parsing these.....

19a Position in which vocal fellow and a boy respond logically (6,2,6) - LISTEN TO REASON (Respond logically)

I can see A SON for 'A boy', but not the rest.

32a Finished backing favourite? That's to go too far (8) - OVERSTEP (Go too far)

I thought I'd parsed this with 'Finished' = OVER + 'Favourite' = PET (Rev.), but that leaves an S unaccounted for, so.....

48a About to leave cinema before a dramatic musical selection (5) - SCENA?

7d Respond to agreed cut having involvement of Conservative (3,2) - ACT ON (Respond to)

I think this is C(onservative) + a 'Cut/Reduced' word meaning 'Agreed', but for the life of me I can't see what it is.

48 RE = about
to leave cinema (screen) = scen + a

7d AT ON(e) around C?
Usually meaning 'in agreement', so possibly 'agreed'

19 Stentor was a herald (vocal fellow). Presumably, that's where we get the phrase 'stentorian tones'.

Position = lie

32 can only think that 'that's' = That 's' rather than that 'is'
therefore that ' S' is the missing 'S'
hope that makes sense !!

I had the same thoughts regarding the 'S' in 'Overstep', but it just seemed a bit 'loose'. Regarding the 'Act on' clue, I came to the same conclusion re; 'Atone/d', but decided it would have to end in a D to match with 'Agreed'. Would never have got 'Stentor' in a million years, so big thanks for that.
Thanks Shooty, thanks Steve, thanks Mattrom.
