Wed Times, finished bar 11A "Waste processors unlikely to be put in again (9)."

Answer today is REINSTALL but I still don't get it (apart from the final definition)! Someone please tell me what I am missing.

Reins are a name for kidneys. Waste processors.
Unlikely is "tall".

Reins (waste processors/ kidneys) + tall (unlikely)

Thanks both. I can now understand it - but I don't like it! Far too convoluted for my taste.
