Can anyone help with the wordplay for these.....

23a Commonly. genuine regret distorts a person's proper allegiances (4,4,7) - ONES TRUE COLOURS (Person's proper allegiances)

I think 'Distorts' is COLOURS, but if 'Regret' is RUE then that leaves ONES T unparsed - and if it's 'Genuine' = TRUE then that leaves 'Commonly' and 'Regret' unparsed, so obviously I've gone wrong somewhere.

4d Common sense is all but pointless (4) - NOUS (Common sense)

Is it NO US(e) ?

13d Strong censure one received, like Abednego (9) - FIREPROOF (Like Abednego)

Brendan a Cockney may say 'onest for genuine.
Common meaning a Cockney speaker.
4D is correct. That's how I parsed it.
13, Abednego survived the flames therefore fireproof.
