A couple I can't parse, so entered from definition alone. I don't want answers, please, just hints towards the parsings.

19d Far from holy day I found near Christmas? (7)

19d is demonic.

Sorry, forgot to parse:

Definition is 'far from holy', 'day I' is 'mon-i'. 'Found near Christmas' is 'dec(ember) which encircles 'moni.'

I think the full parsing of 19d is 'in December'.

I was thrown for a while by writing 'amend' (a.m. end) in for 24d before I had any of the crossing letters.

Jeez, that's some hint!

Actually, I did request "no answers", halloway....

Still no real clue for 1 a, Worldy ways etc. I'm struggling any more hints welcome.
