I'm late coming to this today, but am stuck on two.......
19d: Discharges nameless head, bringing in another (7)
I have escapes = charges (def)
(n) ess - head
but cannot see where "cape" comes from?
26a: Classical musician to press hard for making a comeback (7)
Orpheus = classical musician (def)
