Could really use some help to get going viz 13 across Phlox-related tree planted among prepared taro by company boss in Australia 14 letters I only have the eleventh letter (E): 17 across Discovered Marseillaise and moods in Morningside mashup? 14 letters ???????E?H???S and 5 down Arizona then some old Northern Isles leaving North Dakota to climb height in Italy. 7 Letters beginning with A (which presupposes I am right to have DIARRHOEA for 1 across - ops for(for Greece) appended to journal otherwise showing verbal incontinence) I do have the bottom righthand corner but nothing else!

It's really difficult to see the wood for the trees when you set your clues out like this.
It's much clearer if you list them under each other.

5d The Italian for height is Altezza but sorry I can't do the wordplay.

More likely to be the right answer, Shooty, but I can't parse it either.

Shooty's Antelao looks good. I think Etna is the 'height in Italy. It's reversed because of 'to climb'. I'm mulling over the rest!
