I can't see the wordplay for this, any help appreciated....

32d Like crab served up mayonnaise, say (7) - DRESSED

I think my question regarding 32d may have slipped through the net. I get the mayonnaise part but why 'Like crab' specifically?

Dressed Crab is one that has been prepared and is ready to eat -also as Mayonnaise is a Dressing if something is served with it then it's dressed.
