Am finding this difficult. Have entered an answer to 19a "Hand in the air, it's true!" (8,2) that begins with S and finishes with 'up'. Also, for 27a "Exuberant man jumped on plaything" (6,6), I've put two words beginning with B and C. Not sure if these are right. If anyone else has answers to these, can you confirm whether or not mine are correct. Thanks.

Sounds like you've got the same answers as me. I'm happy with 27a, as the "man" is a chess one.

That's what I have for those: I think 19a is right but not confident with 27a. Any advice welcome.

Thanks everyone. I did feel confident in parsing these two, but as I couldn't get any of the down clues, I started to question myself. I'll carry on with more confidence now!

We don't normally give answers for prize crosswords, just hints.

Hi. Only got one left. 2d. Top features in magazine for British high-flyer (3,5). Have got all the across letters and I'm sure it's blindingly obvious. Is it a type of cosmetic surgery? If it is, I can't parse it. Thanks
