Initially I thought this was 'Ahead' = ON + 'S American banker' = RIO, and just assumed the S A 'Banker' = 'River, but search as I may i can't find River Rio, so I've gone drastically wrong somewhere.

RIO is Spanish for 'river' and Spanish is one of the main languages spoken in South America

Thanks Mattrom, I fell in to the trap of trying to find a specific River Rio rather than just take it as a general term.
