Is it just me, but was this much harder than the last few weeks? I have finshed, I think, but whilst googling, found many answers on www.danword.com. Is this a new site? Good to get some answers but there is no parsing.

It's not new, and not always correct...

I have to admit I use http://www.danword.com quite a lot together with this forum, and it helps me to solve each crossword

There is no joy in receiving straight answers to cryptics with no parsing, thereby not getting any insight into how the setter's mind works . Others have agreed his answers are quite often incorrect and cannot be relied on. Come and ask "real" people on this forum, who will give you either hints , or answers together with parsing.

Okay ... but I think it should be "hear, hear" - not "here, here". Isn't it saying "yes ... I hear what you say, and totally agree. Just a sillypoint - but couldn't resist it!

And in any case case, I think your usage is correct - see Chambers!
