Delighted to see this latest chain, as I was completely stuck in the top right corner. Still stuck on four, though :

The answer to this may help with the other three......

Torpid, lethargic. Tor, peak and pid is Dip, depression (and receding = reverse it).

Torpid
depression - dip (reversed)
peak - Tor

It looks like 'Seed' (Children) + 'Up' (at Uni), but then P would have to be an abbr. for 'Papa'! - is that right?

20d Tailor married person who'll press a suit (7) - A?M?R?R (Admirer?)

I truly have no idea what is going on here.
