Hi everyone

I was late starting the crossword this week as yesterday I was hosting a murder mystery for my husband's 70th birthday. And it is not an easy one for me, but I've managed more than two-thirds. 10ac is puzzling me. I'm not sure I can have the right crossing letters. I have S?U?S?R? I assume the answer is a word for linguist that I don't know.
