Can't parse my answer. Is the definition 'dignified'? Is death 'end' and if so does 'end' enclose a 5 letter word? I'm expecting the 5 letter word to allude to 'old money' but in my answer it's the name of a British sports car manufacturer! Hints please.

Yes, your word for death encloses a five letter word for someone historically with money (and usually land) . The definition is dignified

Thanks Rossini & zozozo. I had the answer all along - just unaware that my 5 letter word also was name of old coin!
